WHEN NORMAL SERVICES RESUME: Arrive as you are. Feel free to wear your favourite clothes, whether shorts or a suit. The only thing that may be questionable would be any football shirt other than Blackburn Rovers - just kidding! Everyone is welcome.
Parking spaces are available at the front and rear of the Brindle Community Hall, a short distance along Water Street away from the church. If you need special access, please contact us.
We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating so don't worry. We won't ask you to do anything that will embarrass or single you out in any way. At our Church of England Church, you won't ever be asked if you completely understand everything in the bible. Our belief is in God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As Christians, we believe that Jesus reveals to us that God is available to us through the Holy Spirit. Everyone in the congregation is asked to believe and trust. This is our faith. It is the faith of knowing we are loved, and of loving God in return.
We celebrate communion together every week. As we drink from one cup and eat the bread wafer, we reflect on Christ's sacrifice and look forward to his return. We invite all who wish to receive the bread to come forward to the communion rail. If instead, you want to receive God's blessing, please come to the communion rail and keep your hands on your knees so that we understand your wishes. If you prefer to remain in your pew that is just fine. Anyone who is less mobile is invited to receive communion in their seat. If you would appreciate this, please speak to one of the churchwardens or verger before the service.
Our services last for about 60 minutes. IT IS WONDERFUL THAT YOU WOULD CHOOSE TO SPEND AN HOUR OF YOUR TIME praying and continuing your journey in faith with us.
